PureAlbum is a self-hosted music library appliance sold directly to individuals. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us.
2. Data collected via Lemon Squeezy
We collect only your order email address and order information (order ID, purchase date, product purchased). This data is provided to us by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, when you complete a purchase. We do not collect your payment card details; those are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy.
3. Purpose of data collection
Your order email and order information are used exclusively to:
- Deliver your download link by email after purchase.
- Allow you to recover the download link if you lose the original email.
- Verify entitlement when you request a refund or support.
4. Data we do not collect
We do not collect your name, physical address, phone number, or any information about your music library or listening habits. The PureAlbum appliance runs entirely on your own hardware; your music files and usage data never leave your network.
5. No data selling
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not use your email for any purpose other than those listed in section 3.
6. Cookies
The only cookie set by this website is locale, which stores your language preference (English or Chinese). It contains no personal information and is not used for tracking or analytics.
7. Data retention
We retain your order email and order information for as long as necessary to provide download and recovery services within your one-year update window, and for a reasonable period thereafter to handle refund requests and support inquiries.
8. Third-party services
Lemon Squeezy acts as our payment processor and merchant of record. Their own privacy policy governs how they handle your data during the payment process. We have no control over Lemon Squeezy's data practices.
9. Your rights
You may request deletion of your order email and associated data at any time. Note that deletion will revoke access to your download link. To make a request, reply to the purchase email you received from Lemon Squeezy.
